Minimize Shelled walnuts

 

100% of French origin!

 

 

Called « kernels from the Dauphiné », they are sold and consumed all year long, in different shapes (halves, quarters and pieces) and various colour types (light and amber).


Shapes


Half:

Fruit of a walnut, shared into 2 roughly equal and intact parts
• Large half: size over 19 mm
• Small half, called "Charbertes": size under 19 mm

 
Quarter:

Part of an half, chipped in different ways and sizes
 
 
Pieces:

Broken pieces of shelled walnuts, between 6 and 15 mm (for 90% of the products).

 

Colours


White:

Shelled walnuts between evenly light to light straw colour (lemon yellow excluded).
 

Amber:

Shelled walnuts between dark straw to light brown colour (lemon yellow included).
