Coopenoix brings together more than 450 members growers, all of whom are located on an exceptional territory composed of three « départements » (French counties) in the Rhône-Alpes region.

They are real professionals, who cultivate their orchards whilst complying with environmental regulations. Following the cooperative, many members are now engaged in sustainable farming and, for some of them, in obtaining the GlobalGap label.

The P.D.O. for “Grenoble walnut” is well established in the Dauphiné tradition and farming. A deserved technical development came from the mechanical harvesting and drying, thus allowing growers to boom with their long tradition.
